Sky Dive was amazing, again again again

Waow I really had my.....uhm, never mind. :-)

What an experience this was. The guy Trevon, he is amazing and mad. I can not describe how awesome that was. We jumped at 3500 kilometer (5000 feet) and it was pretty cold up in the air. But what a view. I saw Mosselbaai from a diffrent kind of view.

What is Mosselbaai beautifull. Trevon went trough the safety things and says couple of things not to worry. Sorry Trevon I was not worry at all. We made a DVD and that is great to have it. So friends, I will show it to you when I am back. Before boarding the plane I was not affraid or that my heart was beathing faster. No, not at all. I was suprised that I did not get sick in the air. Because I DO NOT like to fly :-). Strange isn't it, would like to jump but do not like to fly. But the high is okay.

And then Trevon says, look down and we look right and that was the first time that I was excited.

Then he ask me like we discussed before; SIT ON HIS LAP (yeah baby ahahahah) and he attached me on to him. So, I was save. He says: where I am going you are going with me.

After 20 minutes he said. Leila he we go. Put you legs on mine and do the banana thing after we jumped That means, chin up, arm and hands up and my legs bounded (sorry can not explain). But it looks like a banana. And then we go...........................................

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw this is life. This is the life I like. This is great. This is an multiple air orgasim, like Trevor says to me. Not mine words. Everybody have to do this in his/her life, trust me :-). mijn stop woordje haha

Than the parachute went open. This is also a feeling not to describe. It feels like a bird flying. I was so calm and peacefull. Trevor ask me also to pull on the parachute for navigation. He says, Go left and I pulled very hard. So funny to do that also. And then back. I did not know where to go, but he was a good teacher ;-).

After beying and hanging in the air he says: Let go roller coasting........... my god, that was a little bit too much for Leila. I felt a little bit tired and weak.

Than after a couple a minutes we land where we suppose to land. The first thing I did, was siting on the ground and think about it. Feeling the exciting.

This is so good and great.

But after 10 minutes I felt weak and very very tired and I only wanted to sleep. So I ask for a coke and same candy. What I figure it out, was that I did not had my breakfast. I thoughed when I eat I will be sick. WRONG. You have to eat, because this is an adrenaline boost. And you need energie. And what did my body, getting a LOW BLOOD PRESSURE. So that was why I was feeling weak and tired. Nobody told me to eat before jumping. But I know now, for the next time :-)

After lying on the coutch and waiting for my dvd, I felt a little bit better. But when I was home (the place of Irma's uncle) I went straight to bed and slept for 2,5 hours. After that I was okay.

Than I went with Dalene to eat something at a very nice place. Than we had for 1 hour a FULL BODY MESSAGE. And trust me (here we go again) I needed it very much. And it was so nice.

Than rush to the airport to George and my flight was delayed. One thing is for sure, I am not going to miss my flight hahaha.

Shark Diving what an experience? 13th April 2011 and tomorrow new SUPRISE

He everybody,

You can not imagine. I just come back from a trip at Mosselbay, diving with shark. OMG, what is this awesome. We were with 7 people and a child of 10 years old (girly one).
My heart did not beat at all. I do not no way. I think I am very calm with the shark :-) suprised? What a amazing experience. The guys ask, how is going first. ME ME ME... and I changed and very a wetsuite. So Leila went in the cage for the first time. Than the crew says: DOWN means, go DOWN and watch them. I watched them first and after that I maked some pictures with my underwater camera. What a amazing animal is that. I LOVE THEM. My whises are completed. And I would like to say THANK YOU TO ONE GUY who said: Go Leila, follow your dreams and MAKE TIME. Thank you for saying that to me. The guy who says that to me know what it is about :-) say nothing more :-)

We saw 4 shark. Two smals one and two big ones. One of them was more than 3.5 meters. waaaaaow so nice. One of the shark tried and I am not joking almost kissed me on my mouth, really. I hope that underneath camera took that picure as approve. If not.... it is still true hahahahah.

The shark looking for me the same, but they were not. The big ones was tising the crewmember. The crewmember said, typical a women thing. So of course I made a joke about it.

I also have the move with me in the cage and diving with the sharks. It is amazing moving. Nice to see them, back home. Sorry mama, you are going to watch that with me. And no MIKE, I am not telling to mom that I was diving with dolfins, than I lie. And Leila is not quit good in liying hahahaha.

People, there was one girl from England and she was also in the cage. That is very very brave of her. So I suggest to everybody to go for a shark dive with SHARK DIVE AFRIKA. I hope that my child will also be so brave to do it.

I will try to put many pictures on the website, but my adapter or whatever it calls has Willie senior. And I would like to get it back from him.

Tomorrow guys you can not imagine what I am going to do............................

LEILA IS GOING FOR A SKY DIVING. Yes, tomorrow at 10:00 o clock. Please, hope that the weather is okay.

p.s. I stay at Irma's uncle for 4 days and what a house they have. OMG, I was sleeping in a bed size ... big and I have the most beautifull bathroom. We went for a dinner last night. And they paid that for me, how sweet is that. I really like the couple. So nice and sweet. WE laughed very much together. And the funny thing is, he is dutch Deon from Holland. His wife is from South Afrika but she speaks a little bit Dutch. She already mentioned to say: SCHEVINGEN, that's very good, isn't it.

Deon already showed me yesterday. Many places of mosselbay and other places. The beach here is so nice and clean. The people are also very kind. I really want say to IRMA, thank you very very much. And thank you Deon and his lovely wife for the opportunity to stay at your place. THANKS..

Waiting for my flight to George

Hi,

You can not believe this. I missed my flight. And this time it is not my fault. But I am glad that the owner paid my new ticket to george 250 RAND. so much! But I appreciate it.

Tomorrow I am going to dive with White Sharks, if there is any :-). And the weather has to be sunny and not raining. I will stay in George for 4 days, instead of 3 days. Me and Barbara (office lady) made a mistake. So I have to look what I can do more in George, because it is a small village.

I am doing fine. I really have a amazing time. Everything new volenteers coming in Ukutula and work. And I already have good connection with the rangers etc.

Especially with Cherol from Holland. She is so funny and nice to speak with. But the one couple (ladies one) are so great IRMA and Debbie. Irma arrange that here uncle will pick me up from the airport in George and stay it his place. How awesome is that. It is 45 minutes from airport George to Mosselbay. Yes, I am going to mosselbay.

The weather here is great. I like it a lot. And for your information, the really small cubs of 2 weeks are going to stays at our place and not with the mothers anymore. They are so cut.... but like to bite and scratch. I am thinking for a good name. I can not give them Leila, because we have already a cub Leila :-) hahaha.

Did I already mentioned that I hate to flight. Not one of my things to do.

Ukutula is really a nice place to stay and to some volenteers work. I will suggest to everybody to do this. I am advertising, Am I :-).

I hope that the shark dive will be okay, tomorrow. I hope that I am not a dessert for them :-).

I tried to put some pictures to, but my charges (real one) has Willie senior. So I have to wait for 4 days to put some picture on.

6th April IN CHARGE of the group and.... diving with Shark

Today I am a little bit in charge of the new volenteers. The group exist of 2 Dutch persons.
After the kitchen duty we went to fetch some horses (dead ones) with Willie junior and Laura.
We had a great and fun ride.

After fetching one of the horses we went to take an other one. Keep in mind... that we did not have tom tom. So we were a little bit lost. And we arrive at a place where I saw A GREAT DANE MERLE one. What a dog. ......

During the trip back to Ukutula, Junior told me or I ask him. If he did a dive with sharks. He answered that he did. WAAAO. It cost a lot, but I think that I am going to do this. This is my wish too. I need 3 days off and go to eahter George or Kaapstad. I ask Senior for approval and Laurtien and they are agreed. YES, I think I am going. :-)

Senior (willie) invited me to go an a Rock festival. I said, of course YES. How great is that. When I ask him who is joying he aswered? Only my family. Then Junior heard that and says: Why she is invited and I am not! Sorry but jebiga (sorry it is serbian :-)

In the evening we drunk AMERULLA. It is such as baileys but diffrent. I like it to... So Leila is having two drinks, Amurella and Baileys.
I had so much energy left, that is really amazing. everybody is asking who and who and why I have so much energy. One of the volenteers from France says (Isabella), she is forgotten her pil :-)
It was a amazing evening and a great night. Wait untill I see my bill. Because I was very generous to give everybody (rangers) drinks :-). Who not, isn''t it.

P,s. I AM GOING TO DIVE WITH WHITE SHARKS. YES YES,.

4th april 2011 so sad

Hi,

So sas news. The cheetah was pregnant and give birth to 3 cheetahs. And two of them the mother eats the cubs. So there have to risk their lives and pick up the last cub. The last cub was very cold and he/she needed to go to the vetrinare. After 3 hours the last cub is dead too. Very pitty of course, but like Willie senior says. This happens also in the nature. And he is glad that people not dying.
Today I went to brit update a little bit my weblog. and bought a South Afrika sim card.

Todat I did very fricky thing. I was charing trangolize lions.. What a massief are these animals. Me laugthien, Isabella carried on a stretcher the 5 lions. Can not imagine so close to be with a big lion. Especially the one who is 100 kg (220 pounds) and we took his leg/body and try to replace it from/to an other place bigger one. And he woke up and run for 2 metres and dropped down with his tongue hanging outsite his teeth. What a silly look. The lion looked very drunken. Funny to see this.

Jill is the owner and made a special sandwich for me, how sweet she is. Thank you Jillian.

3rd April 2011

My night was nice, I sleep very well. Our breakfast duty starts at 7.30 and we had a great breakfast with croissants, muffins etc. I only took one muffin and cornflakes with milk. And of course COFFEE :-).
After our kitchen duty we have a day off. That means in our case, lying near the swimming pool and get a sun thin. What a wunderfull day and sunny too.
One of our volenteers Sabina from Germany got cratch from a bigger lion named Chocolate. It was near her left eye and almost in her eye. And a little scratch on her nose. This kind of things can happen, you know. They are pretitors. She is doing allright and she does not needs any stitches.

Today we said goodbye to Jorrit and Chantal the dutch from Oss and Zwolle.

Before I forgot. they are using TIA for everything. That means. THIS IS AFRIKA. Great isn't it.

2 April 2011 Ukutula

Hi,

Last night I slept very well. I have roomies and they are from England, Leanne and Rebekka (becky).
This morning I was awake on time. The girls heard last night Thunder and very loud and raining. But Leila (and I do not mean the cug) did not heard anything. I was really really in coma. I supose.

Today I  have been scheduled in the ranger-kitchen duty. After having breakfast which is very nice. Cleaning all the plates, forks etc.

Wilie senior said hi and said Maimi girl. I answered yes I have been to Miami. He called me like that because I was wearing a Miami t shirt.

Than Vincent the ranger come to Willie. And willie wanna to introduce me to him and he said. This is leila she is a mad girl...... OMG why everybody thinks that I am a mad girl? Because I life my live and likes to have fun and doing exciting things ahahhaah.

We had to help the ranger Vincent. And that was cleaning all the enclosed spaces at the farm. And trust em, it is a big farm and not nice to do it. But also this is all in the game.
With a rake and shuffle and the LIONS. Yes, you heard it very well. With the lions., cleaning the bones and shit of them. The weather is very sunny.

After this we went back to the big cow and there was not much left of the big overweight cow. Many bones and shit that smells bad. Flies everywhere. I, Vincent and Mandela guy tries to grape some legs to remove it behind the truck. I could not move any inch at all. How the guys did I really approciate it. Applause and compliment.
During our duty with Vincent we get a called by Sparkly that he need his help to fech a cobra.
Vincent went to a space looking for the cobra. Because Sparkly the ranger hates cobras. It was very interesting and of course I was looking and making pictures.
The cobra he found it and release him in the bush, how sweet. :-) p.s. I was not affraid at all.

so our duty is finish and went for a lunch.

After the lunch we had time to go swimming in the pool, because we have a midday off. IT IS SATURDAY. YES....

1 April 2011 Ukutula

The next morning I stand up at 7:15 with out an alarm clock, because I do not have it. Forgot to bring it with me :-). Good sign.
Before breakfast I introduces to everybody of the volenteers. And one of them Chantal (dutch) girl told me a lot of information what to do on this farm. Because it is my first day I did not have to do a lot of thing. BUT.....because I will be the only one that is staying a long time. And all the others are going within 2 days. I will be scheduled in the new group. And beacause of that, they teached me everything what to do. So here are my lists what I already did today:

1. Making medicines for the small-middle cubs. That was not easy. The cubs needs to be feeded every 2 hours with a bottle, such a your feed a baby. And there are 8 cubs. Before you feeding them you have to smimulate them and write it down what they did. Or pied or poe. And after they drinking the bottle with milk you have to write down how much they drink. So that was already an amazing experience. I hugs them so much....

2. Then we went to the fridge where the frozen chicken are and feed this to the lions. But there are a size bigger. The smell was not so bad, but when is it a sunny day and shining you can amagine how is it going to smell. :-(

3.Then riding with a ranger to see all the other lions. OMG it is so amazing. So many lions and 1 cheetah.  And a very special one named REX the real African Lion. They have only one of this kind.
It was feeding time too  so I had to carrried and transfer a dead horse/donkey. That was really heavy to do. But that is also my job to do.

4. It was also a feeding time for the female lions. And we fed them with a big big big cow. . Trust me this kind of cow I have never seen before. If the cow did not being slaugther than the cow will be dying of overweight, I know that for sure. And the funiest is. The lion grabs it if it was just a little donkey. So the 4th things to do was done.

And that for only one day. So everybodyt gives me more and more information. Because later one I have to telll the other volenteers what they have to do. :-)

After this duty we went back to the cubs and I fed Leila. Yes, they named her Leila. how sweet of course.

One of the cub already bite me and a little bit of scratches me. What ever, that is all in the game.

After the dinner that was about 18:00 we went to the bar. I had a smirsnoff vodka and after that... went to bed. Because I was very verymuch tired.

First Night in Ukutula

First night!

Second night.....

First night Willie senior (owner of Ukutula) and Willie Junior picked me up from the airport in Johannesburg. After driving 2 hours they dumped me in a chalet with 3 bedsrooms. Just for one night.

After 10 minutes I heared some engines of the cars. But when I tried to listen hard it were the Lions who where communicating with eachother. My first reaction. Waaw.. and I fall asleep with a smill.

What a first night.
